Can a failed chain be restarted at a specific job?

If a chain is composed of multiple jobs, and a failure occurs at job 2, can the chain be restarted at that point and will it automatically run the remainder of the chain as it normally would? We are currently on version 6.2.75 and it doesn't seem to behave that way. If this is supported was it a change introduced in a newer version?
